Job Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team. This role involves the collection of household and commercial waste across designated routes, ensuring a timely, efficient, and safe service while maintaining high environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
  • Collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial areas
  • Work closely with loaders to complete daily routes
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Deliver a high standard of service to the local community

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous refuse collection or similar driving experience (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
  • Ability to work early mornings and in all weather conditions
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
