Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for Multi Skilled Operatives to join our client, based at a busy recycling facility near Redcar. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing recycling operation offering ongoing, full-time work with training and overtime opportunities available.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of the site operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of duties across the recycling facility.
- Picking and sorting materials on a fast-paced recycling line.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised.
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times.
- Operating mechanical handling equipment and machinery on site.
- Supporting general recycling and processing operations.
- Working collaboratively with the wider operations team.
Full training will be provided.
Working Hours
- 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
- 12-hour day shifts.
Pay Rates
- £12.91 per hour.
- Overtime paid at £19.37 per hour.
Requirements
- Reliable and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good awareness of health & safety procedures.
- Previous recycling, warehouse, or production experience beneficial but not essential.
- Counterbalance FLT licence.
