Hours
- 47.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am start
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Load Shovel Operator to join a busy waste management site in Preston.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently
- Move and load waste and recyclable materials
- Complete daily machine checks and report defects
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Clear spillages and follow site procedures
- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements
- Support weighbridge duties when required
Requirements
- Valid Load Shovel licence/certificate
- Previous loading shovel experience
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong focus on Health & Safety
- Reliable and professional approach to work
