About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an FLT / Yard Operative to join a busy recycling and production facility in Sherburn-in-Elmet. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast‑paced and essential industry, supporting safe and efficient site operations. You will play a key role in the movement, sorting, and storage of materials across the site while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move, sort, and store materials within the yard and site
- Operate FLT Counterbalance trucks (where licensed)
- Support recycling and production processes
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards across site
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to support site operations
Requirements
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Ability to work a rotating shift pattern (days & nights)
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
