Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client based in Newport. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical experience within plant, engineering or industrial environments.
The Role
- Carrying out basic maintenance on plant equipment
- Dropping and refitting belly pans
- Fitting side guards
- Tracking and adjusting conveyor belts
- Greasing machinery and carrying out oil checks
- Supporting the smooth running of site operations
- Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Experience as a Plant Fitter, Maintenance Engineer or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
