Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a waste management company for an experienced FLT Driver to join their busy site in Newport. This is a hands-on, outdoor role perfect for someone confident operating FLT and communicating with drivers in a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
As an FLT Driver, you’ll be working at the front end of site operations, helping to manage incoming materials and keep the yard running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move and organize materials
- Managing the arrival of lorries on site
- Directing drivers to correct unloading/tipping areas
- Ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow within the yard
- Carrying out basic load checks and reporting issues
- Supporting general yard and site duties
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday Night shift: 5pm-4am
