About the Role
We are looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join a busy recycling and waste management facility.
You will play a key role in supporting daily site operations by safely operating plant machinery and ensuring materials are processed efficiently.
An on-site competency assessment will be carried out, so candidates with expired or in-house 360 excavator licences are encouraged to apply, provided they have relevant operating experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently within a busy recycling and waste management facility.
- Load, unload, sort and move recyclable materials, waste and aggregates using appropriate attachments.
- Feed processing equipment to maintain production targets.
- Carry out daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on plant machinery.
- Report any mechanical defects, faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Assist with general site housekeeping, ensuring work areas remain clean, tidy and hazard-free.
- Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures, including safe systems of work and risk assessments.
- Work closely with site supervisors and colleagues to support efficient day-to-day operations.
- Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 6:00am – 5:00pm
- Occasional weekends: 6:00am – 4:30pm
- Pay & Benefits
- £130 weekend bonus when you have worked all five weekday shifts and are scheduled to work the weekend.

Requirements
- Previous experience operating a 360 excavator is essential.
- A valid, expired or in-house 360 excavator licence will be considered (successful candidates must pass an on-site assessment).
- Good awareness of health and safety within an industrial or recycling environment.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required.
