Van Driver / 3.5T Driver – Luton Tail Lift (Immediate Start) Nelson, Lancashire – BB9 area
£13.00 per hour
Overtime available – Saturdays paid at x1.25
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role with optional Saturday overtime and long, consistent hours.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 17:00
- Occasional Saturdays available (paid at 1.25x)
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a 3.5-tonne Luton van with tail lift
- Delivering new food waste containers to residential addresses
- Safe and timely completion of daily delivery routes
- Manual handling and lifting using the tail lift
- Assisting with loading and unloading at the depot
- Sorting and organising stock to maximise van space
- Working as part of a small delivery team (2–6 staff)
- Following all road traffic, health & safety, and site procedures
Driver Requirements (Essential):
- Full UK Category B driving licence (held for minimum 2 years)
- Previous experience as a van driver / delivery driver / 3.5T driver
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Must meet insurance requirements
