360 Grab Driver - Hull
Location: Hull
Pay: £16.09 per hour | Overtime rate: £24.13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:30-22:00
Overtime: Sunday, 06:00-14:30

Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced 360 Grab Driver to join their busy waste management operation in Hull on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role involves the safe movement and transfer of loose and baled materials using mobile plant equipment, including FLT with Clamp attachment, 360 Grab and Front-End Shovel Loader.
Health and safety is a key priority, and the successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively with site staff via radio.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate mobile plant and material handling equipment
- Move and distribute loose and baled materials safely and efficiently
- Operate FLT with Clamp attachment
- Operate 360 Grab and Front-End Shovel Loader where trained
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults
- Maintain clear communication with site staff via radio
- Follow all site health, safety and environmental procedures
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Work effectively as part of a team
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- In-date FLT licence with Clamp attachment
Preferred:
- In-date 360 Grab / Excavator licence
- In-date Shovel Loader licence
- Previous experience within the waste management industry
Please note: 360 Grab/Excavator and Shovel Loader experience is not essential, as full training can be provided where required.
