About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced MRF Shift Supervisor to join our busy Materials Recovery Facility in Sheffield. This is a permanent night shift role offering the opportunity to work within a forward-thinking and environmentally focused organisation. You will play a key role in supervising daily operations, supporting the Operations Manager, and ensuring production targets, safety standards, and environmental compliance are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day shift operations and support a small team
- Assist management in achieving daily production and efficiency targets
- Maintain accurate shift logs and provide performance feedback
- Ensure effective 2-hour clean-down procedures are completed
- Maximise segregation and recovery of recyclable materials
- Oversee housekeeping activities in line with company policies and Safe Systems of Work
- Promote a strong health and safety culture
