Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Operative to join our client at their modern PET recycling facility based in Aldridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plant operator to join a well-established and growing recycling operation offering ongoing, full-time work.
The Role
- Operating mobile plant machinery including: Loading Shovel, Telehandler, FLT (Forklift Truck)
- Supporting the processing and movement of PET recycling materials
- Carrying out routine machinery checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining safe and clean working areas
- Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Working collaboratively with the wider operations team to achieve daily production targets
Working Hours
4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern
Days: 07:00 – 19:00
Nights: 19:00 – 07:00
Pay Rate
£14.69 per hour
Overtime available depending on business needs
Requirements
- Valid FLT, Telehandler, and Loading Shovel licences
- Previous experience operating mobile plant machinery
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
