About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Operator to join a leading waste management company based in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established operation where your skills will contribute to efficient site performance and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate mobile plant machinery during daily operations
- Monitor machinery to ensure optimum performance and efficiency
- Load, unload, and sort waste materials, including skips and conveyor systems
- Work alongside delivery vehicles to manage incoming and outgoing waste
- Collect and move waste materials across site
- Take material samples when required
- Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean and organised yard environment
Requirements:
- Valid licence for Loading Shovel, Telehandler, or 360 Grab Material Handler (essential)
- Previous experience in waste, recycling, or industrial environments (preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
