Smart Solutions is currently recruiting an FLT Counterbalance Operative to join the waste management team at Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT driver to secure ongoing work within a professional and well-established site environment.

About the Role
Working within the site's waste management operation, you will be responsible for handling recyclable materials and supporting the efficient movement of waste throughout the facility. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Transporting waste materials across the site
- Segregating recyclable materials
- Operating cardboard and polythene balers
- Decanting waste from stillages into larger RoRo containers
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous FLT operating experience
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
