VAN DRIVER - LYTHAM ST ANNES
Location: Lytham St Annes / Fylde, FY8 2TR
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00
Duration: 4 weeks
Start Date: 28th September 2026
Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for Van Drivers to support a local council project delivering new food waste containers to residents across the Fylde area.
This is a great opportunity for reliable drivers looking for temporary work over a 4-week period.
THE ROLE
- Deliver new food waste containers to residents
- Complete deliveries safely, efficiently and on time
- Load and unload vehicles at the depot
- Use a tail lift and carry out manual handling
- Work as part of a team of 2-6 people
- Help ensure daily delivery targets are achieved
REQUIREMENTS
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience dealing with members of the public
- High-volume delivery experience desirable
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Strong team player
- Good communication skills
