We are looking for an experienced Load Shovel Driver to join our Recycling Team. This role involves loading relevant materials to and from conveyors, as well as supporting general yard operations.
Pay rate: £14.50 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
This role is ideal for a certified machine operator with previous experience working in a wood, green waste, or waste processing yard.
Main Duties:
- Operating loading shovels to feed processing equipment
- Loading and unloading vehicles (lorries)
- Pushing up stockpiles
- Assisting with maintenance and general yard duties
- Operating a 360 excavator to feed processing equipment (advantageous but not essential)
General Yard Duties Include:
- Basic machinery maintenance
- Refuelling equipment
- Shift clean-downs
- Maintaining housekeeping standards and yard tidiness
