Temp to Perm Opportunity
Pay Rates:
- £15.70 per hour – Monday to Friday
- £23.55 per hour – Saturdays and after 44 hours worked
- £31.20 per hour – Sundays and Bank Holidays
Hours of Work:
- Start times between 06:00 and 08:00
- Finish times between 16:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday
- Weekend and Bank Holiday shifts typically finish around 13:00
- Overtime available
Overtime is paid after 44 hours worked during your standard Monday to Friday shifts. Please note that unpaid break periods are excluded from the calculation of overtime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle for the collection and delivery of skips and waste materials
- Ensure compliance with all transport, environmental and health & safety regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Plan routes effectively to ensure efficient collections and deliveries
- Complete all required paperwork accurately
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with customers on-site
- Skip and/or RoRo experience is advantageous but not essential, as training may be provided for the right candidate
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- Commitment to safe working practices
