HGV Class 2 Skip Driver
Location: Tottenham, N15
Pay: £19.00 per hour
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 4:00pm or 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Every second Saturday required
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Tottenham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe delivery, collection, and transportation of skips, ensuring excellent customer service while working in accordance with company procedures and health and safety standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced skip driver looking for a stable, long-term role with a well-established business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect skips from commercial and domestic customer sites.
- Transport waste safely and dispose of it in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
- Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
- Comply with all Road Traffic Regulations, Drivers' Hours rules, and company Health & Safety procedures.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous skip driving experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours legislation and road transport regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
