HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver
Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to join their team based in Quarrington.

What’s on Offer
- £15.50 per hour
- Guaranteed minimum of 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- No weekend working as standard
- Full PPE and uniform provided

The Role
As a Road Sweeper Driver, you'll be responsible for operating a specialist road sweeper vehicle safely and efficiently while ensuring the site remains clean and well maintained.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a road sweeper vehicle across designated routes and work areas
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly
- Completing vehicle inspection reports and route documentation accurately
- Working safely and complying with all transport, road traffic and health & safety regulations
- Providing a professional and courteous service while representing the company
- Supporting the wider transport and depot team when required
What We're Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous road sweeper experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Good understanding of driver compliance and vehicle defect reporting
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm
