HGV Class 2 Driver – Refuse Collection Leicester (LE4)

Pay: £15.68 per hour

Weekly Pay Every Friday

Tuesday to Friday | 7:00am – 5:00pm

The Role

As a Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will operate a refuse collection vehicle while working as part of a team to provide domestic waste collections across residential areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle
  • Work alongside loaders to complete daily collection routes
  • Ensure bins are emptied and returned safely to designated locations
  • Complete all scheduled collections and assist with missed bins where required
  • Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Follow all health and safety, road traffic and operational procedures

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors
  • Previous waste and recycling experience is beneficial but not essential
