- Sun & Bank Holidays: £23.25/hr
Bonus: £200 after 200 hours worked
Hours: Flexible – anytime between 00:00–23:00, Monday–Sunday

About the Role: We are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for a leading transport and environmental company in Barnsley. You’ll be responsible for delivering and collecting goods across multiple sites, supporting our efficient store deliveries, and maintaining high safety and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles for store deliveries (1–3 drops/collections per day)
- Manual handling using tail lifts as required
- Adhere to drivers’ hours, safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Work across day and night shifts, including weekends if required
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 experience
- No more than 6 penalty points (NO CD10, DD, TT99, IN10)
- Valid Driving License, Tachograph, and CPC
- Flexible and reliable with strong route awareness
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks associated with deliveries
