The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving materials around the site, supporting recycling operations and maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload and move recycling materials around the site.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and in designated areas.
  • Support general yard and site operations as required.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules.

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (essential).
  • Previous Counterbalance FLT experience (essential).
  • Previous experience within a recycling, waste, yard, warehouse or industrial environment is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
