The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely moving materials around the site, supporting recycling operations and maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload and move recycling materials around the site.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and in designated areas.
- Support general yard and site operations as required.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site rules.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (essential).
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience (essential).
- Previous experience within a recycling, waste, yard, warehouse or industrial environment is advantageous.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
