Join a team that’s making a real difference in environmental sustainability through innovative waste recycling operations. We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking FLT Operative to support operations at a secure waste recycling facility in the Newtongrange (EH22) area.
The Role: This role goes beyond just operating a forklift — we’re looking for someone hands-on who is happy to support with general yard duties when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
- Loading and offloading wheeled bins onto/from vehicles
- De-stacking bins (from stacks of 14 to stacks of 10) to fit vehicles – full training provided
- Supporting the waste reception and yard operations
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures on site
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance license (with recent experience)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to carry out manual duties
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
