Class 2 Dustcart Driver – £17.50ph + £500 Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm

About the role
Smart Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client's waste and recycling operation in the Farnham area.
This is a great opportunity for a Class 2 driver looking for Monday to Friday work, regular daytime hours and ongoing employment, with the potential to move onto a permanent contract.
You’ll be working as part of a small collection crew, driving a refuse vehicle and helping with residential waste collections across local areas.
What you'll be doing
- Driving and operating a Class 2 dustcart / refuse lorry
- Completing residential waste collections across different local areas
- Working alongside loaders to complete daily collection routes
- Helping to move and empty domestic wheelie bins where required
- Completing any additional work and missed collections
- Driving safely around residential roads and being aware of pedestrians, other vehicles and members of the public
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and following Health & Safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to complete routes efficiently
What we're looking for
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence – minimum 12 months
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 6 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors and as part of a hands‑on team
- Able to adapt to different routes and working environments
- Previous waste, recycling, refuse or dustcart experience is an advantage, but not essential
