Class 2 Dustcart Driver – Crawley
Location: Crawley, West Sussex, RH11
Pay Rate: £16.72 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 15:00

Smart Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join a busy waste and recycling operation in Crawley.
This is an ongoing position working Monday to Friday, carrying out commercial and/or residential waste collections using a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 2 dustcart safely and efficiently
- Complete scheduled waste and recycling collections
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Work closely with loaders to complete collection rounds
- Ensure all waste is collected and transported safely
- Follow planned routes and collection schedules
- Complete relevant paperwork and driver documentation
- Follow all Health & Safety and site procedures
- Maintain a professional manner when dealing with customers and members of the public
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience
- Dustcart or waste industry experience preferred
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
