Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Overtime: Paid at 150% after 45 hours per week
Working Hours:
- Start time: 5:00 AM
- Typical finish: Around 3:00 PM (depending on workload and route completion)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
- Collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial areas
- Work closely with loaders to complete daily routes
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Deliver a high standard of service to the local community
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous refuse collection or similar driving experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
- Ability to work early mornings and in all weather conditions
- Good teamwork and communication skills
