Mobile Plant Fitter - Caythorpe, NG32
Pay: £17-£21 per hour | Shift: 4 on, 4 off | Hours: 6am-6pm
Overtime: Paid after 45 hours
We are recruiting an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter / Plant Mechanic to maintain, service and repair machinery at a busy waste management and recycling site.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair mobile and static plant machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Service loaders, conveyors, shredders, balers and compactors.
- Carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure equipment reliability and health and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Maintenance Fitter.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with heavy plant or waste processing machinery preferred.
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent desirable
