About the Role
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join our client's busy waste recycling facility in Caythorpe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced operator looking for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established recycling operation.
You will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the site, supporting shredding and screening operations and ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently around the yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a Loading Shovel.
- Feed green waste materials into shredders.
- Support screening operations and maintain a consistent flow of materials.
- Move, load and stockpile materials around the site.
- Complete daily pre-start checks and basic machine inspections.
- Identify and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Assist with general site duties when required.
Requirements
- Valid Loading Shovel licence – essential.
- Previous experience operating a Loading Shovel.
- Experience within waste, recycling, aggregates, quarrying or a similar environment is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to get involved with general site duties.
