Van Driver
Location: Birmingham B46
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Overtime: £21.00 per hour (paid at x1.5 after 8 hours)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join a leading company based in Coleshill, Birmingham (B46). This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual seeking long-term, ongoing work within a supportive and well-established business.
As a Van Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time to customers while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van to transport goods and materials.
- Complete deliveries efficiently and professionally.
- Follow delivery schedules and instructions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle.
- Complete delivery paperwork and records as required.
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and driving regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
- Minimum age of 25 due to insurance requirements.
- Previous van driving or delivery experience preferred.
- No major endorsements (DR, IN or similar offences).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and committed to meeting operational requirements.
