HGV Class 2 Trade Waste & Skip Driver

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Trade Waste & Skip Drivers to join our client based in Bathgate. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established waste management business offering stable, ongoing work, competitive pay rates, overtime opportunities, and a supportive working environment.
Shift Patterns
- Trade Waste: Start time: 5:00am, Finish time: Between 1:00pm and 2:30pm
- Skip Operations: Start time: 6:00am, Finish time: Between 4:00pm and 4:30pm
Monday to Friday working pattern.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for Trade Waste or Skip collections.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
- Plan and follow efficient collection routes.
- Deliver excellent customer service at customer sites.
- Ensure bins and skips are positioned correctly and sites are left clean and tidy.
- Comply with all drivers' hours regulations, health and safety requirements, and waste duty of care legislation.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and vehicle records accurately.
Essential Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience operating Class 2 vehicles.
