Barnsley Smart Solutions are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to support operations for Company Shop Group based in Barnsley (S75 3DH) on an adhoc agency basis. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, with shifts available throughout the week including weekends.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday (4:00am – 1:00pm): £17.25 per hour
- Monday to Friday (before 4:00am & after 1:00pm): £19.25 per hour
- Saturday: £20.25 per hour
- Sunday: £23.25 per hour
Shift Patterns
- Adhoc agency work
- Shifts available Monday to Sunday
- Start times ranging from 03:00am to 10:30pm
- Flexible working patterns available
Duties Include
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently
- Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
- Ensuring compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Supporting depot operations when required
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
