Smart Solutions are working in partnership with an award winning training provider, and we are pleased to be recruiting for an Assessor within the Health and Social Care sector to join their business on a permanent contract, who will be delivering apprenticeship qualifications to employed status learners.

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 4.30pm (Flexibility)

Core Duties of the Assessor – Health & Social Care:

  • Providing a quality learning experience and journey
  • Supporting learners to successfully achieve their qualifications in a timely fashion.
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring and achievement of agreed performance targets
  • Occupational competence and delivering apprenticeships experience

Essential Requirements for the Assessor – Health & Social Care include:

  • Occupational experience within the Health & Social Care sector and apprenticeship delivery
  • Experience of Work Based Learning
  • Experience of Award Body practices Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards CAVA Qualification or equivalent qualification, ESW Communication and Application of Number Level 2.
  • NVQ delivery experience of Health & Social Care routes
  • Assessor qualification or equivalent and assessing experience
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to speak Welsh desirable
  • Full driving license and use of own vehicle
