We are currently recruiting for two Multi-Skilled Operatives to join a busy waste and recycling facility in Widnes. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced plant operators looking for stable, full-time work with long-term prospects in a fast-paced environment.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience operating both Loading Shovels and 360 Excavators, although applicants with strong experience in either machine are encouraged to apply.
The Role
- Operating Loading Shovels and/or 360 Excavators safely and effectively
- Loading, moving and managing waste and recyclable materials across the site
- Feeding processing equipment to maintain productivity
- Carrying out daily pre-start checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and site rules
- Supporting the wider operations team as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience operating Loading Shovels and/or 360 Excavators
- Relevant and in-date plant qualifications are preferred
- Experience within waste, recycling, aggregates, quarrying or similar industries is advantageous
- Good awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Reliable, hardworking and flexible attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
