We are currently recruiting for a Banksman to join a busy waste and recycling site in Widnes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and plant machinery across the site.

You will be responsible for directing vehicle movements, maintaining a safe working environment, and assisting with general site operations when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct HGVs and mobile plant safely around the site.
  • Ensure all vehicle movements are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain clear communication with drivers and plant operators.
  • Monitor pedestrian safety and help prevent potential hazards.
  • Support general site operations as required.
  • Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Banksman is preferred
  • Banksman or Vehicle Marshal qualification is desirable
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
