About the Role
Smart Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading waste management and recycling company, for an experienced 360 Grab Operator to join their team in Oldbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business offering stable, full-time work within a busy recycling and waste processing facility.
You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 360 Grab and Forklift Truck (FLT) to move and process materials.
- Carry out daily pre-use inspections and basic maintenance checks on plant equipment.
- Inspect incoming waste materials to ensure they meet the site's Waste Acceptance Criteria.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site and work areas.
- Support production operations during plant downtime and assist with end-of-shift clean-downs.
- Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
- Assist with additional operational duties as required to support the smooth running of the site.
What We're Looking For
- Valid 360 Grab Licence.
- Previous experience operating mobile plant within the waste, recycling, quarry, aggregates or a similar industrial environment.
- Good communication skills and a good understanding of written and spoken English.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
