Location: Huntsman Drive, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough
Pay Rate: £15.30 per hour
Pay: Weekly pay every Friday
Shift Pattern: Day shifts, typically starting at 6:00am, Monday to Friday
This role is advertised by Smart Solutions on behalf of our client who is looking for a Multi Skilled Operator in the Middlesbrough area.
The role:
- Operate FLT Counterbalance, Loading Shovel, and 360 Excavator with Grab safely and competently
- Load and unload vehicles in line with site procedures
- Feed processing lines and manage stockpiles of recyclable materials
- Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at all times
- Work closely with site supervisors and other operatives to meet operational targets
- Assist with general site duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- FLT Counterbalance or Loading Shovel license
- 360 Excavator (Grab attachment)
- Previous experience in a recycling, waste, aggregates, or industrial environment (preferred)
- Strong understanding of health and safety in a plant environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
