About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Trade Waste Driver to join a busy and well-established waste management operation based in Corby. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering guaranteed hours, regular routes, and the chance to work within a supportive team delivering a high-quality service to commercial customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carry out scheduled commercial trade waste collections
  • Safely operate an HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicle (RCV)
  • Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and defect reports
  • Ensure collections are completed efficiently and to schedule
  • Maintain excellent customer service at all collection points
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, drivers’ hours regulations, and company policies
  • Complete all paperwork and electronic records accurately
  • Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Digital tachograph card
  • Previous Class 2 HGV driving experience
  • Trade waste or waste management experience is desirable but not essential
  • Good communication skills and a reliable, positive attitude
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment
