HGV Class 2 Drivers Wanted

Location: Bridgend, Wales

Salary: 15.65ph

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM approx. 3:30 PM

Overtime: Paid after 7.5 hours per day at 22.05/hour (time and a half)

Smart Solutions Recruitment is currently recruiting a number of HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy recycling contract in Bridgend. This is a driver/loader role; all applicants must be willing to load when required as part of a team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Driving and loading duties as part of a refuse and recycling team
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Manual handling required; ability to perform physical manual handling tasks is essential
  • Full training and paid induction/driver assessment before starting
  • Temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidates
