Smart Solutions are recruiting for Leafing Loaders to join our client’s street cleansing team in Birmingham.

This is a seasonal outdoor role, helping to keep streets, parks and public areas clean during the autumn and winter months. You’ll be part of a small team responsible for clearing fallen leaves and other organic waste across the city.

The Role

As a Leafing Loader, your main duties will include:

• . Collecting fallen leaves, foliage and seasonal organic waste from streets, parks, pathways and public areas
• . Manually loading collected waste into municipal collection vehicles
• . Working alongside a vehicle driver and other members of the street cleansing team
• . Helping to ensure daily routes are completed efficiently
• . Following all Health & Safety procedures and ensuring waste is loaded safely
• . Identifying and reporting hazards, blockages or damage to street equipment and public property
• . Representing the client professionally while working in public areas
