We are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman to join an established waste management operation in Glasgow.
As a Banksman, you will play an important role in ensuring the safe movement of HGVs and other vehicles across the site, while helping to maintain a safe environment for employees, contractors and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- . Safely guide and direct HGVs and other site vehicles
- . Ensure vehicle movements are carried out safely and efficiently
- . Maintain clear communication with drivers and site operatives
- . Monitor pedestrian and vehicle movements to minimise risks
- . Follow all site health and safety procedures
- . Identify and report hazards, incidents and unsafe working practices
- . Assist with general site duties when required
- . Work as part of the wider site team to maintain a safe and efficient operation
What's on Offer:
- . £13.00 per hour
- . Monday to Friday working pattern
- . 07:00–17:00 shifts
- . 46.25 hours per week
- . Overtime paid after 46.25 hours when required
- . Weekly pay
