We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for ongoing tipper work based in the Preston area. This is consistent, long-term work within construction and bulk materials. Suitable for drivers looking for steady hours and regular work Monday to Friday. Both experienced tipper drivers and drivers with similar Class 2 experience are encouraged to apply.
The Role
You will be operating 8-wheeler tipper vehicles transporting aggregates and bulk materials between construction and commercial sites. Work is straightforward site-to-site driving with clear instructions and planned routes.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday (day work)
- Early starts, steady daytime hours
- Optional tramping available
- Occasional weekend work
- Ongoing full-time work
Key Duties
- Driving Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and professionally
- Delivering and collecting materials between sites
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Following site rules and health & safety procedures
- Completing basic paperwork
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Experience in Class 2 driving preferred
- Tip / bulk / construction experience desirable but not essential
- Reliable and safety-focused attitude
