We are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a full-time, ongoing position based in Preston. This role involves operating walking floor (moving floor) trailers, transporting waste and recyclable materials to and from processing sites across the UK. Work is generally straightforward and repetitive, allowing drivers to get into a routine.
- Walking floor / moving floor trailers (waste & recycling work)
- Deliveries and collections between depots, transfer stations and landfill/recycling sites
- Minimal handball – trailers are self-discharging
- Tramping role – nights out required during the week
- Monday to Friday – no weekend work
- 05:00 start times
- Long, steady shifts with full use of driving hours
- Vehicles are well maintained and planned routes provided

What We’re Looking For
