Smart Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 2 Trade Waste Drivers to join a busy and growing operation based in Manchester.
Compensation & Hours
- Pay Rate: £14.47 per hour
- Overtime Rate: £18.09 per hour after 40 hours worked
- 1 Hour Paid Break Every Shift
- Up to £90 per week in bonuses
- Monday to Friday work schedule
- Start Times Between 3:00am - 6:00am
- Weekend overtime opportunities available
- Permanent Position | Immediate Starts Available

The Role
- Safely operate Class 2 vehicles collecting and transporting commercial waste.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Provide excellent customer service at collection points.
- Ensure collection areas are left clean and tidy.
- Complete waste transfer documentation using tablet technology.
- Comply with all drivers' hours, Working Time Directive and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Driver CPC Qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous HGV driving experience.
- Waste industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
