Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our successful client based in the Bargeddie, G69 area. Our client who specialise in Waste Management is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.
Multi Skilled Operative - Duties & Responsibilities
- Operating the FLT
- Yard marshalling & weighbridge
- Transporting materials within the facility
- Operating baler machine (training will be provided)
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Industrial cleaning (using broom & shovel)
- Ensure all required correct PPE is worn at all times and adhere to the policies
- Carry out operator duties regarding machine running for optimum performance and availability
- Collect waste material from the process lines and load them into skips or vehicles
Multi Skilled Operative - Person Specification
- Keen and eager to learn new skills
- FLT ticket would be beneficial but not essential
- Good team working skills and good communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
- Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
