About the Role
Smart Solutions are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Sort Line Operatives. You will be part of a busy Waste environment, sorting materials safely and efficiently to support daily operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting materials on a fast-moving line on a conveyor belt to remove contamination from the waste stream
- Identifying and separating recyclable, reusable, and non-recyclable items
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working area
- Reporting any hazards or issues to supervisors
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Working collaboratively with team members to meet performance targets
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to follow health & safety procedures
- Experience in production, warehouse, or recycling operations is helpful but not essential — full training provided
Shift & Pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm
Pay: £12.21 per hour
