Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join an expanding operational team in the Middlesbrough / Teesside area. In this hands-on technical role, you will lead and execute the cold and hot commissioning of process equipment, mechanical systems, and electrical/control systems across local Anaerobic Digestion facilities.
You will ensure that all plant machinery, gas compression, CHP units, and fluid handling systems are brought online safely, efficiently, and strictly to manufacturer and regulatory specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning Execution: Lead the pre-commissioning, cold testing, and hot commissioning phases for process plant equipment, including pumps, pasteurisers, gas scrubbers, CHP engines, boilers, and flare systems.
- Systems Verification: Carry out loop testing, instrument calibration, and functional testing of PLC/SCADA control loops, interlocks, and safety trip systems. xgikmsk
- Standard Operating Procedures: Develop, review, and execute detailed commissioning test packs, RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements), and operational handovers.
