Location: Portsmouth Covering South Coast
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known, highly respected multi-disciplined fire and security company with a strong and consistent workload across the South Coast and up to Camberley. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to develop alongside a senior engineer, work on quality installations, and progress within a stable employer.
What We Are Looking For
- A motivated individual with industry experience in fire sprinklers and fire & security
- Engineers confident supporting a senior engineer with installation works
- Ability to carry out PPM service calls, fault finding and second fix works
- Strong background in CCTV and Access Control, particularly high-level IP systems
- Good IP knowledge is required due to the volume of networked jobs
- Professional demeanour with clients and colleagues
- Willingness to learn through in-house and manufacturer training
- Full UK driving licence
Main Daily Duties
- First fix installation works
- Second fix and commissioning support
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) service calls
- Fault finding and reactive repairs across client sites
- Assisting the senior engineer with ongoing installation projects
