Our client is a leading independent provider of bespoke vending and refreshment solutions, offering over 40 years of industry expertise. They are seeking dedicated professionals to join their field service team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a modern fleet of vending machines across multiple key territories. The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our client\'s customer base. You will be the face of the company, ensuring machines are functioning efficiently, are well-maintained, and consistently deliver a high-quality service within your assigned territory. Key Responsibilities * Conducting scheduled maintenance and servicing of a variety of vending machines (covering hot drinks, snacks, and fresh food). * Diagnosing and repairing faults in the field, including technical, mechanical, and electrical issues. * Installing new vending machines and associated equipment at client sites. * Providing excellent customer service and technical support to clients. * Managing and organising van stock to ensure effective and timely repairs. * Using the Vendmanager software system for logging jobs and maintaining service records (training provided). * Managing a set territory efficiently, planning daily travel and ensuring timely call-out responses. * Upholding the highest standards of hygiene and safety during all maintenance and repair tasks. Skills & Qualifications * Proven, direct experience as a Vending Machine Engineer is essential. * A strong technical aptitude for mechanical and electrical systems. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in managing a territory and planning daily routes. * Experience with Vendmanager software is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided. * A valid UK driving licence is required. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
