Company Overview: Our client is a long-established specialist in Pump and Facilities Management services, operating from two strategic sites across the UK. Due to continued growth and recent acquisition by a larger group, they are now seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their team based at Heathrow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with a strong pipeline of work, modern working practices, and clear paths for progression and development.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of multiple mechanical and electrical projects, primarily involving the replacement of outdated systems across a variety of client sites. Project values typically range from £10,000 to £500,000. You’ll be overseeing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver mechanical and electrical projects relating to pump systems and facilities upgrades
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and suppliers to coordinate project activities
- Carry out site assessments, risk evaluations, and ensure health and safety compliance
- Plan resources, schedule works, and monitor budgets and timelines
- Maintain clear project documentation and progress reporting
- Ensure the smooth handover of completed projects to clients
- Act as a key point of contact between site teams and senior management
- Support the wider business with project pipeline planning and technical input
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a project management role within the pumps, FM, or building services sectors
- Strong working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
- Health & Safety knowledge including site regulations and risk assessments
- Full UK driving licence
