Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees

Location: Teesside / North Yorkshire Salary: £35,000–£40,000 DOE Hours: 40+ hours per week Call-Out: 1 weekend in 5 Overtime: Available at time and a half Travel: Door-to-door paid Benefits: Private healthcare and death in service The Role The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across customer sites, with some installation work. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and helping to keep customer equipment operating reliably. Key Responsibilities * Planned preventative and reactive refrigeration and AC maintenance * Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs * Some refrigeration and AC installation work * Completing PPM work within agreed timescales * Supporting first-time fix and equipment uptime * Working safely and maintaining high standards on customer sites * Completing service reports and escalating issues where required About You * Strong refrigeration engineering experience, ideally within retail * C&G 2079 F-Gas qualification * Hydrocarbon experience/qualification * Full UK driving licence * Good fault-finding and diagnostic ability * Good customer communication skills * Comfortable working independently across multiple customer sites Package * £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience * 40+ hour working week * Door-to-door travel paid * Overtime available at time and a half * 1 weekend in 5 call-out rota * Private healthcare * Death in service * Full-time permanent position
