The role will involve planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive call-outs, with occasional travel to sites further afield including Brighton, Bristol and Oxford.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Attend reactive call-outs and breakdowns
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Repairs and remedial works
- Complete service reports and job sheets
- Travel across Kent, London and the Home Counties
- Occasional overnight stays where required
About You
- Previous experience in a service and maintenance engineering role
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable working independently on customer sites
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Relevant technical qualifications are desirable
- Full UK driving licence
Call-Out & Overtime
- Current call-out rota 1 in 4, moving towards 1 in 5
- £100 retaining fee for each week on call, whether called out or not
- Overtime available
- Overtime hourly rate
- Overnight overtime paid at 2x hourly rate
- Stay-away allowance paid when required
- Door-to-door travel time is not normally paid; travel time is only considered payable where an engineer is required to return to the office before travelling home
Package
- £35,000–£45,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
- Regular work across Kent, London and the Home Counties
